Its almost over 19 days I’m here and I can almost feel like 19 yrs (a Van-Vaas in a dry state), still searching the person who told me that its a paid holiday (may he burn in hell), paid "screw you" session is more apt. here.
Life has been messed up inside out with codes and programs. We gotta remember so many functions which often blocks your mental functions.
About the place- Gandhi Nagar:
It’s not bigger than my society in Mumbai (ok exaggerated, you can say two societies put together..!)
Local people are good only at Garba and Dandiya. If someone is not good with the “dandiya” sticks then perhaps he’s not that man enough no matter how incapable he’s with his own stick.
Most of the people belong to business class. No matter how lame is the business they would do it. The whole family starting from 80 yrs old dying old man to a 5 yrs old kid would be found in the shop doing some or the other stuff.
The names of the shops are pretty weird over here, to list few: “MataRaniji ka Doodh Bhandar” ,“ Nag Pushpa Meal centre” etc…
It’s a DRY state which is restricted not only to alcohol but to the local chicks as well…
One more thing to mention here is the dressing sense of Gujju guys. They generally put in some ultra tight tees on their amputated lump of mass which actually looks like bra/blouse on their man boobs. Doesn’t matter how lame it’s out of Gujrath, but here its ultra-cool-awesome-dressing-style. Even worse, the local chicks find it pretty much turn on.
People, who have got ‘this’ place as their training centre, arm your lappy with ‘stuffs’ in GBs, that’s the only thing which would save you from not turning into gay.
About the Food:
Negatives side: We don’t have food here, everything is dessert. I’m sure its not potato but sweet potato which is used for making curries.
Positive side: Inside infocity (the actual place where am working) there are some good non-veg restaurants, the only place for my survival.
About my colleagues:
Most of the Janta is from Bhopal, Indore, Aligarh and Mysore.
They have come here in groups and still faithful to their respective groups. To me they’re like ancient tribes, trying to guard their people from strangers.
Girls:
One thing I learned after coming here… If a chick looks good, you should think 100 times before going and talking to her. Just admire her from distance otherwise if the mouth is opened every hope is destroyed.
Fake English accent plus awful grammatical mistakes are quite common in girls from Bhopal, Indore and Aligarh.
Some common usage: “Whatever sounds like Whatevaaaa”(which is used in every second sentence), “Am not gotting it”(I went nuts when I heard it for the first time)
“Are you having xyz book??” (I can have only food morons).
Girls from Mysore are nice… free from attitude and helpful. But their English is again
Decorated with lots of extension, especially when they end the sentences, like “You’re going outaaaaaa….” ,“Whaaat you’re thinking aaf yaarself”. Also they have atleast one ‘h’ in their names so that… “preeti” becomes “preethi”, “arpita” becomes “arpitha” and so on.. But overall they’re good and outgoing.
So finally am talking to the Bhopal, Indore and Aligarh janta in Hindi and with the Mysore janta in Kannad (Hogu=go and Byemuchkundu=shut up are just the two words I know and managing pretty well with them).
Guys:
Guys from Bhopal, Indore and Aligarh are free from any grammatical and fake accent as I haven’t heard anyone talking in English in the first place.
Most of the time they “try” to flirt with girls from their own college (I mean 4 yrs and still not bored dude??!!).
Pick up lines like “you’re looking vhery vhery beautiful” and “wow (mouth opened and drooling) isn’t she vhery cool and nice?” are pretty common among them.
Guys from Mysore are basically gay. All day they would be found playing one or the other games like carom, chess or badminton. When asked “don’t you like any chick over here?” they say “no man..! girls are just waste” (I stopped hanging out with them since then).
Though my insults are happily welcomed by them (with a bit of sulk sometimes) “I seriously miss my “harami” friends: akm, mittal, kunal and other cd gang members, the bakar session and not to mention the insult-you-back-in-1000-folds sessions…”
Will continue with lots of stuffs like Garba, our first pass-the-exam-or-fuckoff-from-the-company etc. in my next post…
